Birdwatching...

Golden EagleWe have an arrangement with Paul Doyle of Grampian & Cairngorms Wildlife Services. Simply put, Paul runs a very personal and professional guide service for experienced and novice birders.

He aslo guides botanists and hillwalkers. He has several tried and tested suggestions (see below for a sample) but will also tailor a day's birding to your specific requirements.

The Seabird experience Get close (really close!) to our local breeding seabirds. Old clothes are adviseable. Available May to July inclusive.

Top of the world Walk the plateau of the Cairngorm mountains, where eagles roam and Dotterel and Ptarmigan live amongst the snow fields. Moderate fitness required. Available April to July inclusive.

Raining geese The sight of 15,000 Pinkfooted Geese tumbling out of the sky around has to be seen to be believed. Add 14,000 Wigeon, 500 Swans and thousands of many other species of ducks - go home fluent in "wildfowlese!" Available October to April inclusive.
